Description

Red Wine: 2010 | Jean-Luc Colombo | Cornas Le Vallon d’Aigle

Very dark to the rim. Sweeter, riper dark fruit than the other Colombo Cornas, ripe damson though not jammy, touch of spice and vanilla sweetness, less dark smelling though there’s still a strong mineral character on the nose – and a hint of violets. Ripe, rich and yet all in a tight, firm tannic frame. Fresh and mouthwatering on the finish. Lingering and savoury at the end.
