Producer Information
Les Dolomies is a small and relatively young Domaine, but already making waves with shiningly vibrant wines, located near the Southern Jura’s tiny and rather unknown village of Passelas. Husband and wife team Steve and Celine Gormally created the estate in 2008 and work today about 6 hectares with a cooperative system of rental and “tutelage” of small parcels owned by local farmers. The farm is certified organic and has from its inception worked with biodynamic principles, with the vines ranging in age from 50 to a staggering 80 and seeing the typical Jura varieties of Savagnin, Trousseau, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Having grown under the tutelage of Jura legend Labet, Celine likes to work in the “ouille” style, meaning with topped barrels and with no oxidative style. Hers are wine of patient waiting, passion and romantic spirit.
