Description
Planted in 1944, thisChardonnay is one of theoldest plantings in the state. Amember of the Historic Vineyard Society and CCOF certified the Lolonis Vineyard in Redwood Valley is a gem of a place.
In the cellar, the grapes are whole cluster pressed then cold settled for 5 days before the juice is moved to neutrals oak barrels to ferment naturally. Allowed to complete both fementations it is filtered before bottling.
The 2024 has bright notes of stone fruit, citrus peel, and green pear. She’s a beauty.
