Description
This 16-year-old bottling of Tomatin, selected by Cadenhead’s, presents a finely balanced Highland malt that couples the soft elegance of Tomatin with distinctive sherry-cask nuance. It is smooth, nuanced and characterful—ideal for those seeking sophistication without extreme power.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Sourced from the Tomatin Distillery in the Highlands of Scotland, this whisky was matured for 16 years before being finished in Manzanilla hogsheads. The independent bottler Cadenhead’s selected this cask to bring out layered fruit and savoury complexity, then bottled at 46 % ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring, preserving its natural character.

-
Palate: Smooth and gently textured—there’s chamomile tea, orange peel, milk chocolate and a whisper of cardamom spice.
-
Finish: Clean and slightly savoury—pretzels, lightly salted bread crust, caramelised brown sugar and a soft cola note round off the experience.
