Clos Toumalin is a tiny walled vineyard located in the Bordeaux region of Canon- Fronsac, a limestone paradise less than five miles from the famed village of Pomerol. The team from Chateau La Vieille Cure takes the special terroir of Toumalin and makes a wine of pure elegance and noble complexity, showing beautiful notes of cassis, mocha, black cherries, blackberries, and a hint of sandalwood.
We recommend decanting this wine an hour before enjoying opening its aromas. This isa perfect match for lamb; a grilled ribeye or hearty beef stew this winter.
