Collingwood Toasted Maplewood Stave Finished Canadian Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Graham-Cracker sweetness with delicate notes of Vanilla, Caramel and Butterscotch underpinned by a rich floral (Rose) and fruit character.
Palate: Creamy, with a prickly vibrancy that fades into a delicate Marzipan-dusted grain note. Faint hints of Maple Syrup drift about. Nice complexity.
Finish: Warm, sweet and long, with a lingering floral and light malt whisky character.
Distillery Information
Canadian Mist is a brand of blended Canadian whisky produced by the Brown-Forman Corporation.It is distilled in Collingwood, Ontario, under the guidance of master distiller Harold Ferguson.The mash bill contains corn, rye, and malted barley. It is triple-distilled using a continuous distillation process, and it is aged in charred white oak barrels in a temperature-controlled facility.
