Crater Lake 93 Proof 5 Year Old Estate Rye Whiskey is a limited edition release of Crater Lake Rye Whiskey, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2014. The whiskey is made from 100% rye and aged in charred oak barrels for 5 years. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 93 proof. This product is a blend of both straight rye whiskey and rye whiskey that has been aged in a port wine barrel. It has a reddish amber color and a nose of cinnamon, caramel, and spice. The taste is complex with a lingering finish.
