Description
AUGUST 2025 RELEASE
Crafted from a mash bill of67% corn and 33% soft white wheat, this double pot–distilled bourbon, produced in our Christian Carl pot still in December 2020, offers a softer, more approachable profile than traditional Kentucky bourbons—yet still holds its own in a cocktail. After resting in53-gallon new American Oak barrelswith heavy toast and #4 char since January 2021, it emerges with a balanced complexity perfect for sipping or mixing.
An aroma of sweet corn leads the way, layered with smoke, ripe black cherry, earthy forest floor, and a whisper of maple. On the palate, a graceful interplay of stone fruit, caramel corn, and candy corn unfolds, joined by dried orange peel, black cherry, and autumn leaf earthiness. Hints of green apple and toasted coconut lend brightness and depth. Medium-bodied with a soft texture and a gentle, warming mouthfeel. Subtle tingling on the finish invites another sip.
While this release is soft & balanced enough to sip neat, it shines in a Whiskey Sour orKentucky Mule.
