Aging mellows a spirit, it also brings out new flavours and aromas. The Don Q Gran Reserva contains rums that have been aged 9 to 12 years and solera rums that have been aged up to 50 years which in turn creates a balance between sweet and dry that you won’t get in other spirits.
Enjoy on the rocks, drink it neat. If you really must add a splash of ginger. This is exceptional and does not need messing with.
