A 26 year old single malt Irish whiskey, bottled for the Gelston’s range – which was recently revived by Johnny Neill (a descendant of the brand’s owner in the late 1800s, and creator of Whitley Neill gins). This was matured in bourbon casks for an impressive 26 years before being bottled at cask strength.

This wonderful 26 year old single malt, bottled for the Gelston’s range, was recently revived by the creator of Whitley Neill gins- Johnny Neill. The whiskey is named for Samuel Gelston who owned a wine and spirits company in Corporation Strett in Belfast in the 1830s, when he died the business was handed over to the Neill family. This whiskey is matured exclusively in ex- Bourbon casks and is bottled at Cask Strength.

Nose: Light and fruity with a hint of spice.
Palate: Chocolatey with excellent body and honey coating.
Finish: Crisp and clean with a gentle finish

Halewood International is a manufacturer and distributor of alcoholic beverages in Merseyside. It is headquartered west of Tarbock Island, the M62/M57/A5300 junction, off the A5080 and opposite the Chapel Brook Brewers Fayre. There are 400 people on the 30 acre site in Merseyside.
