A 1995-vintage Glen Elgin, bottled by Japanese bottler Acorn in March 2018. Glen Elgin was closed between 1992 and the end of 1995, and this some early spirit from the newly refurbished distillery, some of the first from its new stills – distilled in December 1995.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Firm, powerful. A well-balanced attack gives equal footing to aromas of peat, smoke, spices.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
