A 29 year old single cask Glen Garioch distilled in 1968, the same year in which the distillery was closed for a short time before being sold to Morrison (now Morrison Bowmore) in 1970, at which time the distillery bottlings began to be made in a peatier style than was used before.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.
Distillery Information
The Glen Garioch distillery (pronounced Glen Geerie) was founded around 1797 by the Manson brothers, although many claim it was in fact Thomas Simpson. Different sources tell different stories. It is located in Oldemldrum, a small town in the Highlands famous for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland.
