A 1953 Glenfarclas single malt from the distillery’s Pagoda series, Sapphire Reserve has been matured for more than six decades before bottling. Rich aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, blackberries and gooseberries mingle with clove, nutmeg and candied orange on the nose. The palate offers notes of clove-studded orange, sherried plums and raisins and rich Christmas spices that linger in the finish.

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
