The first edition of this type hit the market in 1987 and it was today the legendary 1963 Vintage finished in Oloroso sherry butts. However, the real harbinger of the “finished” Glenmorangie was Port Wood Finish, which debuted in 1994 and was immediately included in the basic commercial offer. After a 10-year maturation in bourbon casks, the whiskey spent the next several months in port pipe casks.

Nose: Refreshing aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
