Habitation Velier Foursquare 2013 Barbados Pure Single Rum is the first edition of a Pure Single Rum from the Foursquare Rum Distillery and renowned master distiller Richard Seale. Usually this distillery produces honest and exceptional Single Blended Rum (column + traditional pot still) mixing them directly after distillation prior to maturation in the barrels. Foursquare 2013 Barbados Pure Single Rum instead is exclusively distilled in pot stills and refined entirely in ex-cognac barrels.

Habitation Velier Foursquare 2013 Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: Powerful bouquet reminiscent of wild honey, cinnamon and brandy sauce.

Palate: Medium-sweet, spiced fruit cake flavors, along side honey and light molasses.

Finish: Balanced and surprisingly elegant rum.

Tucked away in the southern countryside of Barbados, on 8 acres of a former sugar plantation, is the magnificent Foursquare Rum Distillery and Heritage Park. This working rum factory is well known for its collection of rums, producing a wide range including the highly favoured Doorly’s, Old Brigand and E.S.A.Field.
