43 year old single malt from Ladyburn! This Lowland distillery fell silent long ago, having only been open for a decade or so, between 1966 and 1975. It’s not something you come across too often these days, and with only 32 bottles released for the Forgotten Gems range, it’s fair to say this is a rather rare bit of Scotch whisky history.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
