Laphroaig Cairdeas Strength Quarter Cask Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose contains a light and sweet woodsy scent, with notes of lingering smoke, pear, berries and a hint of black olives and leather.
Palate: The whisky opens with a strong, excitable malty flavor before an explosion of peat and alcohol emerges in the back of the throat.
Finish: Finish is long and smooth.
Distillery Information
Laphroaig distillery is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky distillery. It is named for the area of land at the head of Loch Laphroaig on the south coast of the Isle of Islay.
