Description
A small batch of this 2022 vintage has developed harmless protein particles that may form visible sediment inside the bottle. This occurs because we use thetannin extracted from green tea leaves (Camelia sinesis)as a natural antioxidant instead of sulphites (the traditional wine preservative), and occasionally these proteins can become unstable and show up as sediment. These particles are safe to consume, and no other Loveblock wines or vintages of TEE Sauvignon Blanc are affected. This kind of sediment is commonly found in natural, minimally processed wines.
The palate is elegant, with juicy mandarin, earthy cumin, sweet basil and ripe yellow star fruit (carambola). Layered and textured, the wine is clean and fresh with flavours of ripe pineapple and a mild tannin note sitting over a layer of umami. Organic, vegan friendly and from a single vineyard.
