Description
Mars Komagatake IPA Cask Finish 2024 is a continuation of Mars Whisky’s annual IPA barrel finished release. This latest edition uses new American Oak barrels along with ex-bourbon barrels to mature their malts, before finishing in Minami Shinshu IPA casks for 6 months. Unlike prior releases, this edition is completely non peated, allowing for all the juicy citrus and floral hop character to expand throughout the whisky. Slightly bittersweet and massively citrusy; if you have ever been on the fence about IPA aged whiskies, this would be a fantastic introduction.
