Origins & Craftsmanship
Distilled in San Francisco at the historic Potrero Hill site by Hotaling & Co., this whiskey begins its life in copper pot stills using a mash derived from a holiday beer (a spiced Christmas ale) which is then distilled twice. After distillation, it is aged for 9 years in once-used Old Potrero Straight Rye Whiskey barrels before bottling at 50% ABV (100 proof). The release is packaged with a “To & From” gift tag neck and is only available in limited quantities, making it a collectible occasion piece.
