Description
Rijswijks Pompwater Honey Liquorice Liqueur 50cl
Rijswijks Pompwater Honey Liquorice Liqueur is a distinctly Dutch creation that brings together two beloved flavours: the smooth sweetness of honey and the bold, spicy depth of liquorice. Handcrafted in small batches, it strikes the perfect balance between sweet, salty and spiced -a treat for fans of classic Dutch tastes.
Natural extracts of liquorice root and anise are blended with pure honey, creating a rich, warming profile with remarkable depth and harmony. Both comforting and intriguing, it’s an ideal liqueur to enjoy on a quiet evening or as an after-dinner curiosity.

Rijswijks Pompwater
Rijswijks Pompwater is the name of our own series of liqueurs, specially made for Wine and Whisky Specialist Van der Boog. The name playfully refers to the pure water that forms the basis of their creations – a nod to tradition with a modern, idiosyncratic twist.
The old Water Pump of Rijswijk
In earlier days, houses did not have water connections. Since 1550, water was drawn from a well using buckets. In 1831, things became easier when the water pump we are so familiar with today appeared next to the well. The village pump is a listed building and, together with the well, forms part of Rijswijk’s archaeological heritage. It is a real eye-catcher in the old historic centre.
