Description
The driest Marlborough vintage in 90 years produced a short, intense ripening period resulting in pristine and concentrated fruit. Spy Valley’s Sauvignon Blanc, selected from Waihopai and Wairau vineyards, was gently extracted, cold settled, then fermented in steel tanks with a portion of oak to enhance texture and weight before blend.
Aromas of passionfruit and grapefruit are complemented by subtle notes of minerality. On the palate, tropical and stone fruit notes are enhanced by a hint of salinity. The vibrant acidity contributes to a long, lingering finish.
