Agua Fria Cold IPA starts as a classic, all American Lager style, using 25% corn next toÿthe house Pilsner malt. Fermented at low ale temperature, low-mid 60s, usingÿa reliable lager yeast strain and dry hopped in the same manner asÿthe West Coast IPAs. This beer?s drier, lighter, lager backbone allowsÿthe Amarillo, Strata, and Cascade hops to really take the stage aromatically and finish crisper than typical West Coast IPA.
